Connect Microsoft Partner Center
Every Microsoft Store app's listing and submissions.
What it unlocks in Storevisor
- Every Microsoft Store app on the release board.
- Store listings, and creating, committing or deleting a submission without opening Partner Center.
The access it needs
| For | Least role or permission |
|---|---|
| Analytics, reviews, listings and submissions | Manager (the role of the Entra app in Partner Center) |
- Register the app in Microsoft Entra (App registrations, New registration), then add it in Partner Center: Account settings, User management, Microsoft Entra applications.
- The client secret is the secret's Value (Certificates and secrets), not its Secret ID. Entra shows it once.
- A client secret expires on the date chosen when it was made. Add a new one before then and connect again.
Steps
- Partner Center, Account settings, User management, Microsoft Entra applications: add an app with the Manager role. Open user management
- Copy its tenant ID and client ID, then add a new key (client secret) and copy it.
- Optional: your Seller ID, under Account settings, Legal info.
- In Storevisor, open Connections, choose Microsoft Partner Center, fill in the form and save. The connection is checked live with the store first; a connection that fails the check is never saved.
What the form asks for
| Field | Note | |
|---|---|---|
| Tenant ID | required | |
